Jerry "Tony" Pappas born November 29, 1957 passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2016 in Vancouver. He loved cars, motorcycles and collecting memorabilia. Passionate about life and family, Jerry loved meeting friends for coffee, always offering an ear to listen and a topic for conversation. Predeceased by his father Greg. He is survived by his loving family, mother Tasie, sons Gregory and Elias, brothers Ken (Lola), George, Chris, sister Kathy (Peter) nieces and nephews Greg, Kali, Dominic, Anastasia and Costa and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. "And while they lie in peaceful sleep, their memory we shall always keep".
Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m. at St Georges Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus St. Vancouver where a funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Father Constantinos Economos officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby.
