My sincere condolences to the Dakis family. I had the pleasure of working with Una at CMBC for 2.5 years. As a work leader she was kind, fair and had a great sense of humor. I like listening to radio scanners and Una told me that she shared the same interest. I'd always intended to visit Una when I returned to the Lower Mainland but the time never came and I am now sorry that I missed the opportunity. Thank you, Una.

Dearest Una, I know that you can feel my spirit because I know that you always knew how much I loved your kind and affable personality and your generous and all-encompassing nature; you were the indomitable strength for your husband and three sons as well as for Jadan and Kayla your grandchildren whom you adored; I am glad that I was part of your life after so many years of absence and I am so sorry to have lost you so soon. It will takes us a while getting use to you not being around in the flesh. We miss you dearly Sis ... RIP.
