I fondly remember my visit in 1981 when I toured "The Look of Music" exhibit in Vancouver. The energy I felt whenever I was in Prof. Revutsky's presence, his optimism, his will to live, overcoming the many obstacles of his life impressed me immensely. I would like to send my sympathy to you and my prayers, that the God of all comfort will truly give you the peace that will help you through this sad loss of your dear husband.

Your husband was my professor when I was in second year Russian at UBC, in 1962, a long time ago. He was such a wonderful teacher of a difficult language and so kind to his students. He was a humble gentleman that I will never forget and I have forgotten most of my profs long ago! 

I would sometimes see him at the 10th Avenue Safeway and he was so friendly and simply a lovely man. I thank God for his life and for having the privilege to have him as my professor.

I will be praying for you and for your family during this difficult time of your lives.
