Hong Kong and did his own business with plastic factories. He
immigrated to Canada in 1997, after retirement. He has two sons,
four daughters and eleven grandchildren.
When he first arrived at Columbus, he told us that he had seen
Jesus at his son's house. He identified himself as Christian, and
in the following year, he was baptised to be Catholic.
In his first year at Columbus, he attended music events and
sometimes arts and crafts and physical activities like balloon tossing.
Mr. Tong was such a gentle man with warm heart and determination.
He was always concerned about the well-being of his children and
grandchildren. We have fond memories of him enjoying bananas!
We will miss his gentle and sweet response to our greetings with
smile and wave.
Mr. Tong, may you rest in peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.
