

He worked as a longshoreman for the Port of Vancouver, and then worked as a warehouseman for NW Packing for approximately 25 years. He married Maria Poncea on July 18, 1962. They were members of St. James Catholic Church, and he loved to camp, hunting, and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife Maria, of Vancouver; Three daughters, Leticia Enquist, Sandra Ortiz, and Laura Lapinski all of Vancouver, WA; Three sons, Francisco Ortiz, Joel Ortiz, and Antonio Ortiz Ponce, all of Vancouver, WA; two brothers, Leon and Les Humes of Vancouver, and one sister, Betty Krause of Olympia, WA; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at Vancouver Funeral Chapel 110 E. 12th St. Vancouver, WA.
Contributions can be sent to the American Cancer Society or to the Wells Fargo Bank downtown Vancouver Branch in Leo’s name.
Arrangements are under the care of Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
