Vernon served in the Army during WWII in the South Pacific, earning a Bronze Star.
Vernon is survived by his sons, Brad, Gary, Gerry, and Cory Davis; sister, Dorothy Hahka of Woodland, WA; brother Richard Davis of Yacolt, WA; many grandchildren and even more great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Davis in 2006.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2015, 1:00 pm at Vancouver Funeral Chapel, 110 E 12th St., Vancouver, WA.
