

Anatoly Rozenblat, age 77, passed away on April 4, 2026. Born on November 26, 1948, in the town of Star’ye Dorogi (Old Roads), Belarus, Anatoly lived a life defined by hard work, creativity, and deep devotion to family.
He spent his later years in Venice, Florida (2021–2026), having previously lived in Chicago and Skokie, Illinois (1989–2021), and earlier in Bobruisk, Belarus (1973–1989). Anatoly earned a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering in 1973 and served as a sergeant in the engineering corps of the army, where he helped build bridges.
In Belarus, Anatoly worked as a construction engineer, contributing to the construction of high rise residential buildings, railroad bridges, and water treatment plants. After immigrating to the United States, he continued to apply his skills with determination and resilience, working as a maintenance engineer in a rehabilitation center while also taking on additional construction and painting work.
Anatoly was known for his many talents and creative pursuits. He excelled at calligraphy, drawing, and arts and crafts, and enjoyed building, tinkering, and working with his hands. He loved the outdoors, especially spending time in forests, and his favorite activity was picking mushrooms. He was also an avid gardener and was known for having a “green thumb.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Gregory Rozenblat, and his beloved cousin, Anatoly Rishis. He is survived by his wife, Jany, to whom he was married for over 52 years; his brothers, Michael Rozenblat and Salik Rozenblat; his children, Yuri (married to Diana) and Alexander (married to Anna); his daughters in law, Diana and Anna; and his six grandchildren, Alyssa, Allen, David, Joseph, Matthew, and Samuel.
