She leaves behind her children: Timothy (Barb) Terry (Barry), Sandra, Coleen (Jim); her beloved grandchildren: Missy, Rico, Randylyn, Darcy, Jeremy, Dicia, Karry, Joshua and Tracy; 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends, Nancy and Susan. She is predeased by her husband Bill, grandson Joshua Figella, sons-in-law Enrico Danise, John Figella and daughter-in-law Lynn Brennan.

Cory was born 9/17/27 in Rockville, CT to William and Lillian Carroll. She was the apple of her father’s eye, whom she adored. She attended St. Bernard’s School, where she met the love of her life, Bill. “The man couldn’t dance, so I had to teach him!” Did she ever. They were the first on the dance floor and the last ones off. She was a woman ahead of her time. She was instrumental in the implementation of Somers Ponytail. Corinne loved the beach, knitting and sewing, but her true passion was gardening. She had award winning gardens at her home in Misquimacut, RI. A passion she passed down to her family.

The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Luke Haven Hospice House in Venice, FL. Dr. Lippa, who enjoyed listening to stories about her, quickly learned about her quick wit. She was a true friend to many; her presence and laughter will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service for Corinne will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1935 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
