Dorothy V. Woodcock

Born at Niagara Falls, NY on November 20th, 1943, Dorothy attended school at LaSalle.

Dorothy Married William E. Woodcock Jr. on February 1st, 1964 and began raising a family while juggling a career.

Dorothy's passions and interests ranged from owning and showing horses, boating, fresh & salt water fishing, scuba diving and travel.

In later years, her artistic outlet found a place in the beautiful stained glass panels she created for her home, as well as giving them away as gifts to family and friends.

Speaking of family and friends, Dorothy held onto family bonds with a vice-grip hold. Spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and a freshly minted great-grand daughter, were among her greatest joys. Being close to her brothers, and their wives, her sister-in-laws and their husbands, many nieces and nephews, was what made her days full of excitement that brought a constant smile to her face and laughter in her heart. Dorothy's circle of friends was vast, and she held those friendships close to her heart.

Dorothy was "world renoun" for her ability to tell it like it is! Never one to hold back an opinion, and she always told you the truth, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

Preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Victoria Pisarski, Survived by her husband of 60 years, Sons Billy (Jon) Woodcock, Paul (Raquel) Woodcock, Grand daughter April (Anthony) Marino, Grand son Josh Woodcock, and Great Grand daughter Lily, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.

The family would like to express our thanks to Tide Well Hospice of Port Charlotte for the wonderful care given to Dorothy in her finaly hours on this earth.
