Francis L Morrell

Beloved husband of Irene E. (Barritt); loving father of Jeffrey and his partner Roger of Beverly, Brian and his partner Linda of Quincy, and Stephen and his wife Michelle of Easton; grandfather of Alexander, Nicholas, and Jacob; son of the late Frank L. and Florence (Mitchell) Morrell; brother of John Morrell and his wife Ellen, Thomas Morrell, Daniel Morrell and his wife Marilyn and the late Arthur Morrell, William Morrell, Albert Mitchell, and Nancy McArdle.

Bud worked for many years alongside his family as a carpenter and as a lobster fisherman. An avid hockey player at Quincy High School, he later passed on his passion for the sport through coaching and as President (1976-1977) in the Weymouth Youth Hockey System.

He enjoyed golfing, watching sports and spending time with friends and family. In later years he enjoyed bringing people out on his boat in the waters of Florida.

He was a member of the Quincy Lodge of Elks #943 and served as Exalted Ruler (1983-1984) and as a Trustee for five years.

A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at the Quincy Elks Lodge at 254 Quarry Street, Quincy, MA on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 12-3pm. Friends and family are invited to attend.
