
Jake was a loving husband, father, Grandfather, brother and friend.
Jake’s hobbies were fishing, hunting and working heavy equipment. He loved to be with his grandchildren outdoors watching them play their sports.
Jake had a successful career as a Charlotte County deputy for 22 years where he impacted many lives during his time as a deputy. Jake would always look for the good in people and how he could help them no matter the situation to ensure a better outcome for someone.
Jake was a member of the first family of Englewood, where he was born and raised.
He lived life to the fullest with his wife Jeri and their four children, along with eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father William “Bill” Goff, mother, Patricia Goff and niece Denise Amber Lee “Goff”
Jake is survived by his wife Jerrine “Jeri” Goff, son Justin Goff, daughter Julie (Sean) McCauley, Twin sons, Jarrod (Katherine) Goff, Judd (Melissa) Goff, and eleven grandchildren; Brothers, Eugene (Robin) Goff, David (Kathy) Goff, Rick (Susan) Goff and sister, Vicki (Shawn) Brown.
