Many of his academic years were spent at military schools. He was proud of his years of service in the Army at various posts including two tours of duty in Viet Nam as a helicopter pilot. He was awarded several medals.
After leaving the military, Jeff resided in Oregon where he owned several rental properties and a hearing aid business. He donated time to the Civil Air Patrol to support future pilots. In 1994, he moved to Englewood, FL and married Diana in 1996. He was a skilled handyman. As an adult he learned to play the guitar. Jeff was an excellent competitive tennis player and also enjoyed downhill skiing, sailing, gardening, and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Diana; his daughter, Jennifer (Chad); son, Brett (Erica); and grandchildren, Kaela, Dillon, Lauren, Summer, Nathan, Nicholas; aunt, Luana; and sister, Janeen.
Jeff’s wish was to be buried in Arlington, which will be at a future date. No local memorial will be held.
