Joan E. Kaar, age 87, of Village of Holiday Lake, Port Charlotte, FL passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Englewood, FL.
Joan was born in Dover, NJ to Grace & Robert Morgan on February 15, 1934.
She attended Roxbury High School and graduated in 1952.
Joan in 1973 went to work at Placida Post Office and then went to Boca Grande Post Office where she retired in 1996.
Joan enjoyed reading, puzzles & bingo. She was a member of the Rotonda West Elks and Rotonda West American Legion.
Joan moved to Florida in 1971 with her husband and son where they had the first house built and became the first family to live in Rotonda West, Florida.
Joan is survived by her son Harry Jeffrey Kaar of Port Charlotte, FL, sisters Ruth Morgan of Orrtanna, PA, Gloria Rice of Parsippany, NJ and brother Jack Morgan of Charlevoix, MI. Joan was preceeded in death by her husband Harry A. Kaar.
Joan did not want a funeral, so burial will be in the spring of 2022 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ
