Former Erie, Illinois resident John (Phil) McCallister passed away on April 25, 2020 at his home in Englewood, Florida. Born on November 30, 1957, John is survived by his mother Norma McCallister of Erie, five children: Jessica McCallister-Ramsey of Erie, Phillip/Erin McCallister of Colona, IL, Patrick/Shea McCallister of Clinton, IA, Jacob McCallister of Pittsburgh, PA, and Kelsey McCallister of Pittsburgh, PA: Brothers Lionel/Kris McCallister and Jim/Lisa McCallister of Erie, sister Brenda/Bill Wainwright of Port Byron, IL, and five grandchildren: Grace, Lila, Lily, Mia, Hunter. He was preceded in death by his father Lionel A. McCallister and brother Mark McCallister. Because of the Covid19 pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
