Husband of Linda Pintur, departed this life on October 4, 2025. Jock was born 10-16-1946 in Elyria,Ohio.
The son of John M Pintur and Elizabeth Pintur (née) Gurchik.
Jock grew up in Lorain, Ohio, graduating from Lorain high school in 1964. He enlisted in the USMC serving four years, including two tours in Vietnam.
Returning to Lorain, he worked as an electrician, retiring from IBEW Local # 129.
He was a life member of the American Legion, VFW, and Amvets and a member of the Moose, Eagles, and Elks clubs.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and in later years video gaming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Sharon Pintur, and brother-in-law Colin Cook.
He is survived by his wife Linda, his sister’s Jennifer Cook and Cynthia Reinke, (David), and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation is to be handled by Lemon Bay funeral home Englewood, Florida, with interment at Sarasota National Cemetery and a celebration of life at a future date.
