

PHYLLIS A JEAN, age 92, of Englewood, Florida passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022. PHYLLIS was born October 1, 1929. Phyllis grew up in a small one bedroom house with her parents and Brother "Billy" on Portage Lakes in Akron Ohio. She always loved the water, fishing & sailing and photography. She used to talk about how her Father's friend's would hand whittle fishing lures at the kitchen table. In her free time, Phyllis took many photos of family, friends and pets with her B&W Brownie camera. When old enough to work, she held some early jobs as a phone switchboard operator and lived on her own. After her marriage to Floyd Harold Jean, she spent her time raising two children. Later in life, she started her career in Real Estate and was consistently in the Million Dollar Club. She retired at the age of 80 with Wes Foster, founder of Long & Foster, calling & asking her to not retire. Phyllis enjoyed her free time traveling, attending Craft Fairs, Oyster Festivals and going to the Blue Surf in Bethany Beach. She traveled to many places in Europe, Russia, many islands & all over the US.
She was a force of nature all the way to the end. We will miss her & our world will never be quite the same.
She is survived by her son, Mark William Jean & his wife Shiony of Meridianville AL & her Daughter Jennifer Jean Troncone & her husband Richard of Venice Florida.
