Robert Clifford Parish

Graduated Saunders Trade & Technical High School, Yonkers, N.Y. June 1948.

Served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953.

Married Iginia (Maffei) Parish on September 20, 1953, was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather of 5 sons, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Parishioner of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church, Crestwood, N.Y.; served as lector, and as Cub Master of the Annunciation School Cub Pack, Crestwood, N.Y.

Worked as a carpenter, builder, general contractor and developer in Westchester County for 43 years.

Member of East Yonkers Kiwanis for 35 years serving as Board Member, Treasurer, Secretary and President.

Member of the Builders Institute of Westchester and Putnam County for 35 years until retirement, serving on the Wage Negotiations Committee and the Workmen's Compensation Insurance Committee.

Charter President of the Victory Heights Civic Association serving in that capacity for five years.

Carpentry teacher - Adult Education Program of the Yonkers Board of Education and participated in the Board of Education "Career Days."

Retired to Englewood, Florida in 1992 as a resident of Englewood Isles I Association, Inc., serving on its Board of Directors as Treasurer (1993), Vice President (1995), and as President (1996-1998.)

Member of American Legion - Post 1506, Yonkers, N.Y. since 1949; in 2001 was recognized and honored for 50 years of service to the American Legion.

Member of the Englewood Elks Lodge 2378, Englewood, FL

Hospital volunteer at Venice Bay Front Medical Center, Venice, FL

Parishioner of St. Rafael's Roman Catholic Church, Englewood, FL

Robert will be cremated and his ashes will be inurned alongside Iginia in the Memorial Gardens at St Rafael’s Church.
