

Virginia Irene (Jean) Ussio, 89, of Englewood, FL passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 in Sarasota, FL. Mrs. Ussio was born May 28, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA to Emanuel and Rosalia (Viscussi) dos Santos Vigas. Mrs. Ussio was a dedicated caregiver to her husband of 54 years, Frank A. Ussio, a disabled American Veteran who preceded her in death. She was an avid championship bowler. Her other interests included fishing, boating, and shelling on the beach. She was also very artistic and loved creating things with her hands. Virginia most enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, and spending time with her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her daughters, Donna Jean (Ken) Simms of The Villages, FL and Ellen Marie Ussio (Chuck DiMarco) of Sarasota, FL; brothers, John (Sandy) Quattrocchi of Eustis, FL, Salvatore Quattrocchi of Long Island, NY; sisters, Joan Klosek of Charlottesville, VA, Rosalie Quattrocchi of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Patricia Lafferty of Vineland, NJ, Jessica Dadak of Monroeville, NJ, Maria (Ed) Ricca of Las Vegas, NV; and grandchildren, Trisha Carroll (Bill) Schwalb of California, PA, Lisa (Gahan) Hagerty of Stafford, VA, Andrew Simms of Pottsville, PA and Amanda (Andrew) Krajan of Hanover, PA. She is preceded in death by a brother, Emmanuel Arnoldo (Moe) Vigas Jr. of Englewood, FL and sisters, Lee Csaszar of Vineland, NJ and Vincenzza Phelps of Chesapeake, MD.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood, Florida, funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
