

Wanda L. Totten, 92, passed away in Englewood, FL on April 17, 2025. She was born on December 4, 1932, in Terre Haute, IN to Harry Dewey and Eva (Demoss) Scott. Wanda graduated from Gershmeyer High School in Terre Haute, Indiana. She worked as secretary at Allison Transmission in Indianapolis, but her occupation was as a Homemaker and raising four children. Wanda married her husband Phillip in 1951. They lived in Indiana until 1986 when they moved to Quails Run in Englewood and then South Gulf Cove in 1995.
Wanda enjoyed playing cards, socializing with her friends and participating in various philanthropy organizations. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority, Red Hats and South Gulf Cove Crafty Girls.
She will be remembered as the most loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Wanda is predeceased by her husband Phil and daughter Karen as well as all her 12 siblings.
She is survived by three sons, Curt, Mark and Brad, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday April 26, 2025, at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293. Entombment will follow at 1:00 PM at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, 2401 Englewood Rd, Englewood, FL 34223.
