Anna M Beers

Anna was born April 6, 1928 in Gettysburg, South Dakota to Peter Christian Juhl and Ethel Rose (Erickson) Juhl. Her family moved to Iowa when she was young. Anna graduated Garner High School in 1945 and then married her high school sweetheart, Warren B. Beers in 1946.

Anna has been a Ventura County resident thirty four years coming from Waterloo, Iowa in 1969. She was a bookkeeper for thirty five years for various ranchers. Anna and her husband Warren were affiliated with Winnebago Itasca Travelers and enjoyed traveling the United States in their motor home. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Ventura.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Warren Beers in 2009 and two sons, Dennis and Steven. Anna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Rachel Beers of Illinois; daughter, Lovella Oppliger of Ventura; son, Brian Beers of Ventura; twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Anna was a kind and sweet woman, very much loved. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013, 10:00 A.M. at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura, with Pastor Dave Hall officiating.
