

Anne B. Humphries passed away at age 85 on October 12th, 2010. Anne was born in San Francisco, CA on November 12th, 1924 to Anne and Louis Rheinlander. Anne died at her residence in Ventura, CA after 46 years of living in Ventura County. She was married in 1983 to Bill Humphries and lived throughout the US and Mexico for ten years with him. Anne worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII, as a dental assistant for over 25 years and most recently as a classroom grandma for Ventura ARC. Anne was a member of the Silver Lining club and the Sassy Sisters; both at Bible Fellowship Church. In her free time Anne was a devout reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest joy was sending smiles constantly and spreading love and joy to all she encountered.
Anne was preceded in death by her sister Rose Busboom and her husband Bill Humphries. Anne is survived by her children, Pamela Nolan and Paula Brandon and husband Jack; grandchildren, Carly Futoran and husband Jack, Jennifer Brandon, Andy Nolan, Kelly Brandon and partner Jennifer Brightman; great-grandchildren, Jack and Brandon Futoran and nieces and nephews, Janis Carlson, Nancy and husband Tom Roland, and Don Busboom. She was also survived by countless other friends and “adopted” family members.
There will be a Service of Remembrance for Anne B. Humphries at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Bible Fellowship Church, 6950 Ralston St., Ventura, CA. Tel. 805-656-7766.
