Arnold "Gene" Eugene Gray Jr.

He was a United States Postal Carrier for twenty-seven years. Gene was devoted to his family, they enjoyed many camping trips together as well as family barbeques. He took pride in documenting many of the family events in photography. Gene enjoyed playing cards, listening to Elvis music, road trips, watching sporting events, skiing and spending time on projects at their home.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy Gray; sons Eric and Jason Gray of Ventura; mother, Peggy Gray of Oxnard; sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Robert Gramespacher of Paso Robles; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Susan Gray of Moorpark as well as nineteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Monday, December 5, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Graveside services will be held Tuesday December 6, 10:00 A.M., at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura, followed by a Celebration of Life at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1800 South “C” Street, Oxnard, with The Reverend Anna Mulford officiating.

A reception will be held also at the church immediately following the services.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.
