He is survived by his sons, Scott and Mitch Spencer, (son Steven Spencer, deceased in 2011); grandchildren, Dylan, Jenny, Burke, Austin and Madison; great grandchildren, Marshall and Emily Jane; daughters-in-law, Laurie, Barbie and Mart; and brother Bob Spencer.
Services will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2012, 11:00 A.M. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura. The United States Navy will render military honors.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home.
