

Corinne May Nichols, 90, of Ventura, known as “Connie” died Sunday, February 18, 2018, in her home, following a long illness. She was born March 15, 1927, on a farm in Walhalla, North Dakota and was the only girl with five brothers. She was a long time county resident, when the family moved to Ventura in her teens.
Connie was a telephone operator with Pacific Bell, and then an accomplished homemaker for many years. But her true passion was art, spending over 40 years exploring and developing her talents.
She was a devoted and loving wife, companion, friend, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.
She is survived by son, Tim Hayden of Yerrington, NV; daughters, Karen Nichols Maceno of San Diego, and Cheri Nichols Wadlington, of Bakersfield; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, February 26th, at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, in Ventura, with The Reverend Dan Hull officiating.
