Mrs. Lowe was always a wonderful delight to be around. To quote Mrs. Lowe "When I grow up I'm going to be an old woman." ..I wanna grow up like Mrs. Lowe!!! :)

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Lowe.  While I did not have the honor to meet her in person, I did have the opportunity to work several years with her son, Clifford Lowe and his wife and my dear friend, Sue Lowe. They have often spoken of his Mother lovingly, with kindness and respect.  Even when a Mother is no longer with us physically, her love, lessons, tenderness live on through her children, grandchildren, and their families. My prayers are with you and your loved ones.

To the Lowe Family:  My deepest sympathies to you all!  As we heard of Grandmommy's passing I stopped to share a special memory with my children.  I remember being 5 or 6 years old and visiting them out in CA.  She took me and my sisters to see her closet full of marvelous square dancing dresses.  I was awe struck!  I'm so thankful for that memory.  My you have peace in your time of loss.

Dorothy was a very special lady and I will miss her more than I can say.  She attended our music ministry faithfully for nearly all of the eight years we have been going to the Victoria Care Center and it will be very difficult for all of us in "New Hope Road" to carry on the ministry without seeing Dorothy's smiling face at the back table and without her kind words and encouragement.  We are not supposed to have favorites but I just can't help it.  She was with us the longest, had one of the sharpest minds and one of the sweetest dispositions and loved to laugh at my dumb jokes.  I'm not ashamed to say I cried when I saw her obituary in the newspaper.  It feels like I have lost a family member.  To Diane, it was so nice to talk to you, however briefly, on your frequent visits to see your Mom.  I know you and the family already know this but you were so blessed to have such a wonderful mother and to have her for so long.  I know that doesn't really help with the grief but prayer is a great healer and know that we are praying for you and all of Dorothy's loved ones.  I'm sure that Dorothy already has a card game going with some of the other saints, as I write this.  May God bless and keep you through your time of sorrow.

I was blessed to be fortunate enough to have such a wonderful mother-in-law for 10 years.   She was a sweet, southern lady who always brought a smile to everyone she met.  She had a very strong faith and raised her family in that faith.  She is in a better place now, but we will greatly miss her and cherish the beautiful fond memories of her.

I miss our Mom so much.  I am her oldest son and she and I were always very close.  She remained so happy all those years at the Nursing home.  I want to thank all who cared for her at Victoria Care center.
She was a Mother of All Mothers who cared first for her children.

I am her oldest grandson. Even though we were seperated by 2 continents, I had a special relationship with her. I miss her, dearly.

I'm one of her sons, who was excited when I trounced my mother at checkers on her 95th birthday.  But I have to add, she came back and won the next game. She was a good mom.
