Eusebio E. Martinez Jr.

Eusebio Esparza Martinez, Jr., 50, of Oak View, died tragically in an automobile accident on Friday, October 14, 2011, in Fillmore. Eusebio was born March 10, 1961, in Pecos, Texas.

He was a floor covering installer with his brother-in-law Kevin St. Joseph Floor Covering for the past 10 years. Eusebio will be remembered for his great sense of humor, always smiling, laughing and joking. He was generous with his time and quick to offer help and hope to anyone he met. Eusebio was very artistic known for his drawings, paintings pastels and pencil sketches. He was a regular at virtually all Starbucks in the County where he began his day with his coffee and friendly conversation.

Eusebio was a loving dedicated husband, father and son. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 24 years, Marie Carmen Martinez; daughters, Elaina Martinez and Jessica Martinez, all of Oak View; brother and sister-in-law Michael and Tracy Martinez of Pollock Pines; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lydia and Kevin St. Joseph; brother-in-law Ray Romero of Oak View; nieces Tori, Alexa and Melissa.

He was preceded in death by his mother Pilar Esparza Martinez in March of 2011 and his father Eusebio Martinez in 2004.

Visitation will take place Thursday, October 20, 2011, 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Services will be held Friday, October 21, 2011, 1:00 P.M. also at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, with Deacon Ed Mills of Our Lady of the Assumption Church officiating.
