Gary M. Stever, was born on June 29, 1940, the younger son of Ron L. and Alda Stever, in Pasadena, California. He was educated in Pasadena eventually graduating from USC with a bachelor’s degree in business. Naturally, Gary became a diehard USC fan, especially for football. He was even known to erect a “shrine” to the team on the day of the crosstown rivalry game with UCLA.
Gary and his family moved to Ojai in 1995. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Gary passed away on May 6, 2019, after a very short bought with pneumonia.
He is survived by his wife, Judi; daughter, Karen Simon; sons, Eric, Aaron and Robert; and grandsons, Ryan Stever, Sam and Nate Simon.
