Gladys Carol Cochran

Carol was born February 2, 1934, in Osage City, Kansas to Carrin and Sedolph Johnson. Carol Graduated from Bethany College Lindsborg, Kansas, with an MS degree in biology and later taught the subject at Independence, Kansas. She enjoyed music art and youth act ivies at her church, Grace Lutheran in Osage City.

She met and married Jon Cochran and spent several years following him on various U.S. Navy duty assignments abroad. Carol had been a resident of four states and two continents, happily living in Ventura for the last 34 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Ventura.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jon; cousins Vince and Tammie Anderson of Colorado Springs as well as many second cousins and other relatives in the Midwest.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18, 1:30 P.M., at the First Lutheran Church, 78 Chrisman Avenue, Ventura, with the Reverend Allen Hellwege presiding.
