Jeanne Ellen Reed

She graduated from Ventura High School with the Class of ’57.

Jeanne then moved to the Los Angeles area where she worked for 30 years as a secretary in the real estate and construction departments of Citizens Bank.

After returning to Ventura in 1994 she worked both at Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura and Stetler Funeral Home in Santa Paula. Jeanne was a faithful member of Ventura Baptist Church where she was a member of the Jubilee Class.

She is survived by her brother, Wayne Reed of Prince George, Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as longtime friend, Thora Michaud of Ventura.

Services will take place 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 11, at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road with The Reverend Leonard DeWitt officiating of Ventura Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.
