
Jeanne loved Asian art and fine jewelry. She and husband, S.L. Hodges, Jr., operated their import-export business, Hodges International, for many years in Ventura.
Jeanne became one of the Founding Directors of Turning Point Foundation in 1988. She served on the Board for eight years and was President of the Board in 1996. She was a dedicated board member who was committed to supporting those persons with mental illness who lived in her community. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and had been active politically in many Republican campaigns.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband S.L. and her son Samuel L. Hodges, III. She is survived by her sister, Neila Hanlon; nephew, Jeffrey Hanlon and niece Kathy Hanlon, all of Salem, Oregon; niece, Neila Jean Swor of Candy, Oregon and Jane Ann King of Gresham, Oregon as well as many relatives of her late husband, S.L. Hodges, Jr.
