Marjorie Ruth Ford

Marjorie Ruth Ford passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, December 22, 2015. Born January 27, 1917, in Los Angeles, California to Harry Seaman and Leila Seaman. Marjorie attended the University of Southern California (USC) where she met her love, Vern Ford and were married June 22, 1940. She was a wonderful and dedicated homemaker that enjoyed time with her husband and venturing the world with her daughters, Melinda, Margaret, and daughter in-law, Soledad.

In Marjorie’s spare time she played golf, cards, knitted sweaters and hats for Orphanages in Romania.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Lavern Ford, daughters, Margaret Schommer, Melinda Meredith, and sons in-law, Les Meredith and Ron Schommer.

Marjorie is survived by her son, John (Soledad) Ford; her grandchildren, Brett (Jennifer) McBride, Curt (Mellissa) Schommer, Kyle (Violeta) Schommer, Brien (Sonia) Ford, Nicholas Ford, Christopher (Ramona) Ford; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan Ford, Sophia Ford, Alexander Ford, Mason McBride, Kai Schommer, Henry Schommer, Paloma Ford, Bianca Ford, and Vivien Ford.

A celebration of life will be held at the Pierpont Inn on Wednesday, December 30, 2015,at 3:30 p.m., 550 Sanjon Rd, Ventura, CA 93001.
