I was fortunate enough to be one of Ms. Ford's students at Croughton in 1989-1990. She was my eighth grade history teacher. She was an amazing woman and she gave me a wonderful appreciation for a subject that before having her I didn't enjoy. My condolences and blessings to her family.

I was lucky enough to move from Croughton to Lakenheath at the same time Moe moved. We became fast friends and shared many long drives, meals, shows, beers, and lots of laughter. 
I feel like I know your family because she always shared stories and always felt loved. 
I am overwhelmed with sadness for your family. Sending prayers your way.

Tommy: I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved sister Moe.  She was a special person in so many ways even when we were still in grammar school. Isn't it wonderful that she lived near you during her last years.

Tommy:  I am so very saddened by Moe's passing.  I will always remember our pick up games in Jackson Parkway.  We all wanted Moe on our team because she was better than all of us! I am so very sorry.

Maureen, I have not seen you in many years and really regret this. The last time we were together was in your mothers apartment in Holyoke during one of your visits home. We all had a long talk about you and your daredevil mountain climbing trips. Your mom talked about her tomboy playing all of the sports in the alley. You look like aunt Aggie and my daughter Colleen. You were always a wonderful cousin and friend and I will miss you.

I was blessed to have Maureen as my 5th grade teacher at Holy Family School in Springfield way back in 1969-1970.  I was very timid and shy, but she brought me out of my shell. I have always said that 5th grade was my favorite because of her engaging way with all of her students.  I learned so many lessons in that corner classroom on the 2nd floor, but the greatest one she taught me was how to treat everyone with  respect and compassion.  She was a wonderful teacher, and it is so nice to read how she continued her special  calling as an educator for so many years.  She really was a beautiful and inspirational person.  God bless her family and friends at this sad time, but know she  must be being greatly rewarded in heaven for her most meaningful life on earth.

Maureen was such a special person.  Her vitality and positivity was inspiring. We will especially miss playing golf with her.

I had Ms. Ford for history class in England.  She was a creative and caring teacher.  She had a way of bringing all the students in her class together, even those who didn't fit in. I still remember many of her lessons.

It is with a heavy heart that I am reading this notice. Maureen was one of a kind, she could make you laugh like crazy and always be there for you. It didn't matter how long it had been since you'd seen each other. You are singing with all the saints and angels my friend.

Ms. Ford was one of my favorite teachers.  Everyone who walked into her classroom was welcomed and encouraged.  I was blessed to get to be on her softball team and thought of her and what she did for me often.  I'm sending prayers to her friends and family.
