Olivia Ann Rivas

She was born on August 10, 1961 in Santa Paula, and was a life long resident of Ventura County resident.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren she also loved her cat Nanuk and collecting cat figuring's. She loved reading the Bible and sharing her faith in the Lord with family and friends, she had also influenced her faith and strength to others, to never lose faith, even when life brings struggles.

She is survived by her daughter Jolene Marie McElroy-Barbosa, son-in-law Carlos Barbosa, daughter Angela Le Ann McElroy, son Alvis Alexander Robert McElroy. Grandchildren Priscilla Nicole Bonilla, Lillian Delilah Bonilla, Mary Jane Barbosa. Father Angel Sr. Rivas, mother Sarah Garcia, sister Linda Rivas, brother Angel Jr. Rivas, step-brother Richard Rivas, sister-in-law Ellan Reclusado and her partner Alice Nava, brother-in-law Robert McElroy. As well many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family members and friends, who will dearly miss her.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, April 23 at the Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura. Pastor Sid Ward and Sister Diane Jacquez of the Calvary Chapel will officiate. Interment will follow at 11:00 am Friday, April 24 at the Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.
