Richard B. Cobb

Richard Benton Cobb a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, left the earth peacefully at home with his family surrounding him on March 19, 2015. Richard was born October 14, 1934 in Chattanooga Tennessee and moved to Ventura in the early 50’s. It was 1955 when he married the love of his life, Shirley and started a family in 1959. Richard was in the grocery business for years and after that he sold insurance and eventually worked for Max Sacks International where he taught motivational sales clinics. Richard was an avid golfer, surfer and snow skier. He enjoyed camping and fishing, but his true passion was his family and it’s said that “Dad never met a stranger”. Richard is survived by his son and daughter Rickey and Lea Cobb, 4 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on April 11, 2015 from 1 to 4 pm at the” Bench Warmer” sports bar in Ventura. He will be greatly missed.
