Richard A Lovo

Having been a resident of Ventura County for 61 years, Richard was a security guard, at the Montalvo Lemon Packing Plant, for many years and after leaving that position, he worked fulltime for Goodwill Industries in Oxnard. Among the many things that brought joy to Richard’s life, he loved model railroading, CB radios, camping and spending time with his family.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Normagene and Floyd Lovo of Somis, CA and now leaves behind his brothers: Robert (wife Paula) Lovo of Somis and Melvin (wife Collette) Lovo of Simi Valley; sister: Linda Holland of CO; 4 nephews, 4 neices and 3 great-nieces.

A service of committal will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wed. December 12, 2012 at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Rd. Ventura, CA 93003. Rev. Leonard DeWitt, of the Ventura Baptist Church, will be officiating.
