Robert G Stemples

Bob was born May 5, 1945 in Cortland, NY and moved to California when he was 5 years old. He was a long time resident of Agoura Hills and spent his last 9 years in Ventura.

Bob worked for the Los Angeles Police Department for 26 years, retiring in 1992. After retirement he spent a few years working for Universal Studios. Bob was a current member of the Central Coast Fuzz That Wuzz, an organization of retired law enforcement officers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Robin; children, Lance Stemples of Windemere, FL, Leslie Chisum of Simi Valley, Brent Kast of Agoura Hills, Kimberly Trummer of Summerlin, NV, Jessica Stemples, USN, currently stationed in Charlottesville, VA; brother, Mark Stemples of Simi Valley; sister, Sharon Rains of Bakersfield and the 10 joys of his life, his grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the Stonebridge Community Church, 4832 Cochran St, Simi Valley, with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
