

Ryan James Huff entered this earth on Jan. 14, 1990 and on Dec. 6, 2009 was saved by Jesus Christ and taken from this earth. Throughout Ryan's 19 years on earth he touched many lives and will be dearly missed. He attended Mound, Balboa, Buena and Ventura High Schools. Ryan loved the beach and surfing. He enjoyed playing many sports, Saticoy Little League, AYSO, VYBA, Junior Life Guard, Ventura Packers, motorcycle riding and wake boarding but his love and passion was football. Ryan played football at both Buena High School and Ventura High School where he had received several awards. Ryan was unique, strong, brave, and lived life to the beat of his own drum. He was passionate about doing things his own way no matter what he was doing. Ryan's smile, laugh and crazy sense of humor will be deeply missed. His strong will and courage will always be admired. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandfather Lester G. Huff and Great Grandparents Nemecio and Rufina Chavez. He is survived by his loving parents Mark and Donna Huff; brother Tommy Huff; his little sister Natalie Huff; Grandmothers Frances Meatty and Lucille A. Huff; Grandfather, Robert Meatty and wife, Jackie; Godparents Henry and Angela Chavez, numerous uncles aunts and cousins, and oh so many friends.Visitation will take place Thursday Dec. 17, 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, 5 p.m. at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura, with The Revered Steve Davoren officiating. A reception and celebration of Ryan's life will follow in Biederman Hall at Sacred Heart Church, 10800 Henderson Road, Ventura.
