Sonia Lynn Miller

Sonia was born October 22, 1972 in Ojai to James and Carolyn Miller and had been a lifelong resident of Ventura County.

Sonia was a bartender at The Hub in Ojai for 10 years. She was involved in many social activities.

Sonia was preceded in death by her father, James Miller, grandparents, Don and Rosalie Graham, aunt, Marsha Lane, cousin, Billy Wimpee, stepfather, Herman Arms and stepbrother, Herman Arms, Jr.

She loved her family and friends very much and is survived by her mother, Carolyn Arms of Oak View; brother and sister-in-law, Paul “Skip” and Hope Miller of Ojai; former sister-in-law, Kim Miller of Ventura; nieces, Ashleigh Miller of Ojai and Arielle Valenzuela of Santa Barbara; nephew, Robert Sheldon of Reno, Nevada; uncles and aunts, Celeste and Dave Harper of Washington, Bill and Connie Wimpee, Jesse and Trish Wimpee, Mark and Diana Wimpee all of Oregon, Sharon Wimpee of Texas, Thomas and Esther Wimpee of Bakersfield, John Smith of Alaska and Diane and Bob Thompson of Alabama; stepsister, Sally Hulsey and her husband Mac of Bakersfield; and numerous cousins, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 1, 2011, 2:00 P.M., Soule Park, 1301 Soule Park Dr., Ojai, with Pastor Paul Bergmann officiating.
