Teresa "Terry" Ruth Riggs

Teresa Ruth Riggs 58, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, after a very courageous battle with cancer. She is no longer in pain. Terry was born July 19, 1956, in Joplin, Missouri to Lawrence and Inis Howard.

She moved all over the mid-west and south until her family moved to Ventura in 1975. It was there in April 1975 that she met Bob, the love of her life. Terry and Bob Riggs were married in July of 1975, after a very short courtship.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Riggs of Ventura; daughters, Michelle Riggs of Santa Paula and Danielle Baker (Mike) of Ventura; granddaughters, Chloe Riggs and Sophie Baker ; and grandson, Connor Baker, all of Ventura. Terry is also survived by her sister, Tammy Arkley and her daughter Megan, of Tucson, AZ; and her brother, Monty Howard of Ventura.

Terry worked for nearly 20 years with the Ventura Unified School District, mostly at Montalvo Elementary School, as a Computer Lab Instructor. She loved working with all children.

There will be no services in accordance with Terry's wishes.
