William Hart

December 29, 1926 - January 17, 2018

It is with a heavy heart that we can announce the peaceful passing of William Frederick Hart on January 17 2018 at the age of 91 in Châteauguay.

Predeceased by his wife Julia Alice Crawley and his brothers John and Norman Hart, Son of the late Leo Frederick Hart and the late Gladys Rose Hewitt. Fred will be greatly missed by his sons Norman (Janet), Barry, and Darcy Crawley, as well as his 10 grandchildren and his 4 great grandchildren.

Fred started his working carreer at a young are, at Montreal Shipping. He served in the Canadian Merchant Navy bringing relief supplies to Italy toward the end of the Second World War. Fred finished his career as the manager of Harrison Crossfield Coffee and Tea Division.

The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care given to Fred by the staff on the 5th floor of Centre d'Hébergement de Châteauguay.

The visitation will be held on Monday January 22 froom 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm. A service will be held on Tuesday January 23 at 11am. The visitation and service will take place at the Residence Funeraire Laurent Theriault, 512 De l'Église, Verdun, H4G2M4.
