Betty Emma Mason

Betty was born on November 2, 1954 in Kamloops, British Columbia to Alan and Olive Mason (nee Stewart). Sadly, she was predeceased by her parents and her sister Alana Yorke-Hardy (nee Mason) who passed away in November of 2014.

Betty will be greatly missed by her brother Peter Mason and her brother-in-law Robert Yorke-Hardy, her three nieces Tanya, Lee-Ann & Kelly, three nephews Chris, Mike & Matt in addition to fifteen grand niece & nephews.

Betty graduated from High School in Golden, BC and then enrolled in and obtain a Diploma in Interior Design from Bauder College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Betty later completed a course in Massage Therapy and took a Real Estate Sales Course.

Betty resided for over 25 years and in the fall of 2015, Betty was stricken with a brain illness and was transferred back to Vernon, BC for medical attention; where she resided from late 2015 till her passing on December 23, 2019.

A private cremation was held for Betty on December 27, 2019. Her ashes will be dispersed at her brother's ranch near Sundre, Alberta in May 2020. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at pleasantvalleyfh.com.
