Dave had a successful engineering career, with his drive, passion, and leadership carrying him to a vice president position. Alongside his professional accomplishments, he encouraged and supported his three children through various activities — coaching, volunteering, sitting on boards, and chauffeuring them all over the city.
Dave retired to Vernon, where his busy lifestyle transitioned to golfing, skiing, and taking motorcycle trips with friends; woodcarving in his workshop; and travelling abroad. He especially loved being near the water, enjoying many fishing trips and boat days with family.
He was also involved in his community, proudly serving as President of the Okanagan Quality of Life Society, which operates the Heaven Can Wait Boat — an organization Dave became deeply passionate about.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and unfailingly generous, Dave was the kind of person you could always count on. He was an amazing father, a great friend, and a steady source of wisdom and support to those around him.
He is survived by his three children and two grandchildren, who will carry his memory and quiet strength with them always.
His absence will be deeply felt by those lucky enough to have known him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Okanagan Quality of Life Society in Dave’s memory.
