Derrick Andrew Parmelee

September 15, 1966 – September 3, 2017

Dad….

“You are by far the strongest man we know. We couldn’t be more proud of everything you have accomplished & the fight you fought. You will be forever missed. We love you more than you will ever know.”

Derrick leaves behind his best friend & wife of 28 years, Cindy. 3 children, Chantal, Brady & Kaelyn. His father, Robert (Aida), sister Debra, brothers Doug (Cindy), David (Jennifer) & Robert, as well as his uncle Roy. He was predeceased by his mother Mary.

Derrick enjoyed an amazingly full life of love & happiness, most of which included his favorite sport soccer. Playing coaching and watching. He was an athlete who not only participated but was a great enthusiast. His participation wasn’t just sports, it was life and family. Derrick loved both & anyone close to him could see it. He will be missed by all & his memory will continue forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, Vernon, BC.
