

He is survived by his beloved family: his loving wife, Joyce, of 52 years; three children: son, Ed Pruss; daughters: Connie (Alain) Cyr, and Sandra Pruss (John Goulding); five grandchildren: Ryan (Chantelle) Cyr, Melannie (Richard)Devries, Kayla Pruss, Kari Pruss, and Lucas Pruss; three great grandchildren: Mason Devries, Maryssa Devries, and Ava Cyr; sister, Rose Pruss, brother, Joe Pruss; extended family and friends. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Nancy Pruss.
Ed was employed by Alberta Tractor in Edmonton and then by Finning Tractor in Vancouver. He later transferred to Kamloops, Campbell River, Sparwood and in 1996, retired in Vernon.
He enjoyed various activities: photography, working on his computer, having coffee with his buddies, and all sports, particularly golf and hockey. He coached hockey for several years. Ed served as a volunteer gardener on Sandpiper’s Strata Council and also as treasurer with Joyce’s retirement union.
The Celebration of Ed’s Life was held on Thursday, December 29th, 2011 at the Schubert Center with Lloyd Klein, officiating.
