Edwin Allen Stratichuk

After a short battle with pneumonia, Ed, age 84, went to be with his Savior, Jesus and be reunited with June, his wife of 58 years. Ed will be greatly missed by his 3 daughters, Laura (Dave) Dennie, Jill

Gehrmann, Susan (Trevor) Radke and 7 grandchildren (Mark, Matthew, Bria (Jesse), Caleb Dennie, Annalise Gehrmann, Derek and Jason Radke).

Ed was an avid outdoors-man who enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, skiing and snowmobiling. In his early years he played baseball and together with June he bowled and curled. He especially enjoyed taking

his grandchildren fishing and giving them rides on his ATV. His other interests included reading, gardening and camping.

Ed spent his entire career in the banking industry and even in retirement he would lend a hand to former clients on their farms or ranches. He was a cowboy at heart.

A celebration of his life will be held on February 27, 2025 at 1pm at Summit Dr Church in Kamloops, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited, BC Wildlife Federation or Kamloops Fish & Game Club, an organization that Ed was a member of.

Our family would like to thank the care aids and staff at Hearthstone Manor in Vernon, BC for all the loving care that they gave to our dad over the past 2 years.
