Eric Bernard Hawick

Eric Bernard Hawick passed away at his residence on June 25, 2012, with his loving wife, Inga, at his side at the age of 59 years. The Hawick’s were residents of Vernon and Calgary for many years. Eric is survived by two daughters, Melinda Stephenson and Belinda (Sean) McManus, and son Brad (Bree) Hawick, all of Calgary; mother, Leah Hawick, Innisfail, AB; stepdaughter Lauren Gothe, Kamloops and stepson Travis Gothe, Winnipeg; five grandchildren, Victoria, Jasper, Brooke, Brynne and Emily; two sisters, Jackie (Cal) Dallas, Red Deer and Debbie (Don) Almond, Kelowna; brother Brian (Jo-Anne) Hawick, Black Creek, BC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Friday, June 29 at 2:00 P.M. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ALS Society of BC, #119 – 1600 West 6th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 1R3 or to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, 2345 Yonge Street, Suite 900, Toronto, ON M4P 2E5.
