We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of our mother, grandmother and dear friend on January 7th, 2013 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer.
Sim was predeceased by her beloved husband and soulmate, Vince (Moose) McLaughlin. She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Joe), Shannon (Bob), and her son, Barrie (Nicky); six loving grandchildren: Jan-Marie, Jessica, Michelle, Sarah, Kyle, and Christopher; brother Yvon (Jeanette); sister Therese (Hughie); numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and her best friend of many years, Edna as well as her family.
In celebration of Sim’s life, there will be a memorial gathering in the tea room of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
