Percy Wayne Roberts

Percy “Wayne” Roberts born in New Westminster, British Columbia on September 14, 1940 passed away on Saturday July 2, 2016 at the, North Okanagan Hospice House Vernon, BC; after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s. Wayne is survived by his loving wife Elaine of 54 years; his daughter Dawn (Paul) Paprskar; son Michael (Natalie) Roberts; brother Gordon (Sharon) Roberts; grandchildren Travis (Jennifer) Roberts, Hope (Dane) Paprskar, Kate (Dale) Roberts and Matthew Paprskar. Wayne was predeceased by his first born son Todd; his parents Percy and Isabela Roberts and siblings Bill, David and Dorothy. After a long career as an agent with Imperial Oil in Vernon and Enderby, Wayne and Elaine enjoyed an early retirement filled with travel and full on grand parenting, as well as many other hobbies. Wayne will be further missed by his ever present companion Angel. Funeral service will be held on Friday July 8, 2016 at 1:30 PM, at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Wayne, may do so to the Parkinson’s Society or to the North Okanagan Hospice Society.
