Predeceased by his wife Gloria and survived by his sons Paul (Katie and Jay), Stephen and David, Also by his older brother John (Terry).
Walter was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan and an expert photographer.
A Celebration of Walter's Life will take place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11am at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home in Vernon, BC. Internment of cremated remains will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Family would also like to invite guest for a reception back at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Walter.
