

Zulfiqar Ahmed was born in 1966 in Lyallpur, Pakistan, and settled in Canada, moving to Kamloops, British Columbia, in 1969. He lived a life defined by energy, passion, and a deep love for those around him. He was a caring and generous soul whose warmth was felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Zulfiqar embraced life fully. He loved hiking and being in nature, traveling to new places, swimming, and enjoying good food and memorable dining experiences. He also had a special place in his heart for animals and cared deeply for their well-being, always showing kindness and compassion.
Above all, Zulfiqar valued family, friends, and connection. He will be remembered for his loving nature, his enthusiasm for life, and the genuine care he showed to others.
He is survived by his beloved mother (Khurshida Ahmed) and late father (Bashir Ahmed), his two older sisters (Perveen Sarwar and Nasreen Taj), his younger brother (Iftkhar Ahmed), brother-in-law (Saleem Taj), sister-in-law (Charlene Dueling), and his cherished nieces and nephews (Sabah Sarwar, Sonya Sarwar, Hussan Sarwar, Sahar Taj, Faisal Taj, and Faraz Taj). He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
